Actress Binita Baral is currently (on December 14, 2013) selling organic vegetables, she has grown herself in her farm, in a hotel in Lazimpat. Binita and the team is stationed at Trishara Hotel, located near the French Embassy.
On Saturday, Binita remains at the site from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Actress Binita Baral is doing a theater play for the first time in her acting career, starting today (December 6) in Theater Village, Lazimpat. The play titled ‘Telling a Tale: Kitchen Dramas’ is about personal stories of Nepali women. In the play, gender inequalities, violence and other serious issues are said to be raised in funny way.

I am abused by my husband. Last week when I said I was pregnant, he threw me to the ground and kicked me again and again until I was nearly unconscious. Will you help me to return back to Nepal?

Actress Binita Baral participated in a rally organized to raise voice against the use of harmful pesticides in agriculture. The ‘Harmful Pesticide Free Week’ is organized by the Agricultre Minsitry of the Government of Nepal and runs from Mangsir 18 to 25 (December 3 to 10). The awareness campaign tries to create awareness to the consumers about the harmful effects of pesticides in agriculture.

In a facebook post, Binita said, we should go organic and stop using pesticides in agriculture. She adds,"Pesticides are positions not medicine." She says, we should raise our voice against the poisionous substance and live a healthy life.
Binita has started an organic farming business. Binita has been complaining about lack of publicity of her business when compared to glamour. For the first time as an artist, Binita is also doing a play starting this Friday.

The play is based on the narratives edited by Archana Thapa. The play is adapted and directed by Deborah Merola. The play features actors Binita Baral and Devya Dev. Binita says that the she is enjoying the theater experience.

In her Facebook post, Binita shared a photo of the director Deborah with her. She says that she has enjoyed working with the director.
She also shared a photo of the actor Devya Dev. Talking about the actor Binita says that she is "always impressed with his dedication and passion in acting." She also says that they are having a very good chemistry between them and she has appreciated the acting skills of Devya.
After conducting musical programs in 16 cities by 40 different artists, the election awareness musical tour has concluded in a program held at Durbar Square. The event organized by the Election Commission of Nepal was supported by USAID and IFES.

On the final program at Durbar Square the super star of Nepali movie industry, Rajesh Hamal also danced. Actress Binita Baral is going to her hometown in Chitwan in Dashain. The actress is currently involved in organic farming and is busy in business to do movies.
For Dashain Binita set aside Rs. 25,000 to spend on clothes. Most of the money she set aside is spent on clothes. She wanted to buy a Kurta Suruwal for the Bijaya Dashami day and few more if the budget permit.
Talking about the tradition of animal sacrifice for meat during Dashain, Binita says that she doesn’t like the tradition. Binita believes such a cruel practice should be stopped. Other than that, she likes everything about Dashain.
