The MaHa duo, Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya and other artists are going to perform in various cities of Australia under a tour titled MaHa Yatra 2014.
The artists comprising of MaHa, Kiran KC, Basundhara Bhusal, Narendra Kansarkar, Shiva Hari Poudel, Kunti Moktan and Mohit Bamsha Acharya (Haribansha’s son) will also be in the MaHaYatra tour.
The artists are scheduled to reach Australia on January 16. The tour will start from the Australian city Perth on January 18 and will conclude in Sydney on February 2. The events will be conducted in the major cities like Perth, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Alidade, and Sydney.
In MaHaYatra 2014, MaHa will perform well known comedy shows of the past and a new show. Other artists will also be featured in different comedy shows and musical programs.
The schedule of the program is:
- January 18, 2014 (Saturday) – Perth
- January 19, 2014 (Sunday) – Adelaide
- January 25, 2014 (Saturday) – Canberra
- January 27, 2014 (Monday) – Melbourne
- February 1, 2014 (Saturday) – Brisbane
- February 2, 2014 (Sunday) – Sydney
Actress Nandita KC is going to be featured in MaHa’s upcoming telefilm ‘Syabaas’. After being absent for some time the comedy duo comprising of Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya have started producing new comedy shows and movies.
Apart form MaHa, the telefilm ‘Syabaas’ also features Narendra Kansakar. The shooting of the telefilm was done at MaHa’s studio.
Nepal closure called by the faction of CPN (Maoist) led by Baidhya and 33 other parties has caused problem in all aspects of day-to-day life in Nepal. Some Nepali artists have expressed their dissatisfaction on forceful closure and violence.
Comedy artists Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya wrote an open letter to stop this type of nonsense at the time of election. MaHa have told that they are against any forms of violence.
Actress Priyanka Karki shared the following photo expressing satisfaction on seeing a couple of four-wheeler vehicles and few motorcycles on the street. She called for people to protest such forceful closures.
Actress Keki Adhikari has also asked people to vote in the election and protest the forceful closure in Nepal.
Actress Komal Oli shared a closure protest banner and asked people to defy Nepal Banda.
