The producers of upcoming movie ‘Euta Sathi 2014’ have replaced actress Sumina Ghimire by another actress, Anu Shah. According to the producer Laxman Subedi, the change was a result in a new twist in the story. Sumina had previously worked in ‘Star’, a movie in which Laxman was one of the investors.

Although the film unit claims the role of the character Sumina was supposed to do has increased and Anu was better fit for the role, there are suspicion of relationship problem with the film unit. Although Anu Shah is regularly participating in workshop, Sumina wasn’t in contact with the film unit.

The movie to be produced by Shovit Basnet and made under the banner Salon Films is going to floor by the end of the month. The script of the movie is written by Sushil Pangini, music of Tanka Budhatholi, and cinematography of Ganesh Kumar Shrestha. The movie features Salon Shrestha, John Tamang, Rista Basnet, Karishma Shrestha, Shovit Basnet, Rupa Rana, Narayan Puri and Anu Shah in main roles.

A trans-gender character interviewing in Nepal 1 television for the last few years, Ujju Darling, is actually a family man with two kids. Ujjwal Bhandari was born to mother Chhidudevi Bhandari and father Bhuwaneshowr Bhandari on August 25, 1970 in Kathmandu.

Ujjwal and his wife Pushpa have two sons aged 10 and 19 years.

When asked if he is really a transgender, Ujjwal says that every person has traces of male and female characters, but, he is an artists and he performs to support his family. In the start – for the first 5/10 episodes, his wife used to complain that her friends made fun of her. But, these days is she is fully supportive.

While being featured as a transgender, Ujjwal has faced various incidents. One of the most memorable incident was an extreme one-side-love of a guy towards him. He says about eighty percent of his fans are female and that some guests had felt uneasy to be interviewed by him and had refused to participate in the show.

During the show times, Ujjwal does the dress-up himself and make up artists help him get ready for the show. He brings all the dresses (of his wife) he uses in the show. In more than 350 shows so far, Ujjwal has worn more than 95 percent of his wife’s clothes. He also gives some rental amount to his wife for letting him use her clothes.

In addition to doing the show, Ujjwal has also written a book named ‘Ujju Darling’. The book is currently in press and will be released soon.

One of the controversial actresses of the industry, Sumina Ghimire has acted in more than two dozen movies within past four years of her career. Ghimire who entered the industry as a simple girl is now reportedly showing her bold character and trying to establish herself as an adult only actress in the industry. Her upcoming censored movie Star (for 16+ viewing only) and her sizzling appearances in few other recent movies has portrayed her more of as an adult movies actress.

Sumina however thinks that it is normal to smoke these days. She says, there is nothing to hide.

At the time of the biggest festival in Nepal, Vijaya Dashami, two movies releasing on October 4 are mostly unheard of. The movies named ‘Papi Raat’ and ‘AK 47′ aren’t much advertised and aren’t expected to attract much audience.

‘Papi Raat’ was shot 2.5 years ago and features Sushil Chhetri, Sumina Ghimire , Saroj KC, Ramesh Budhathoki etc. The movie directed by Shyam KC is made under Jenim Films banner and produced by Yuvaraj Khatri. The movie features the music of Anand Khatri and choreography of Govinda Rai. The cinematographer of the movie is Shiva Dhakal.

Another new release ‘AK 47′ is directed by Brilliant Bista. The movie made by Bishal Films banner features Bishal Bista, Milan Sapkota, Bini Khatiwada, Sushil Pokharel, Deepak Chhetri, Dilip Thakuri etc. in main roles. This movie was also shot three years ago.

This week, Poojana Pradhan and Sumina Ghimire will be featured in ‘Dui Mutu Ek Dhadkan’ and ‘My Brother’ respectively on theater.  Nepali Actress Sumina Ghimire is featured in a romantic role in ‘My Brother’. She has also offered a hot item dance in the movie. The movie made on the story of two brothers is told to be an action movie.

  

Nepali actress Poojana Pradhan is featured in a romantic role in the romantic movie, ‘Dui Mutu Ek Dhadkan’ . The movie is directed by Rajendra Kumar Thapa.

Although both ‘Dui Mutu Ek Dhadkan’ and ‘My Brother’ were previously screened in theaters out of Kathmandu, it is the first time they are being featured in theaters out of Kathmandu. Both of these movies hadn’t done a satisfactory business in the theaters out of Kathmandu. That might be the reason, the promotion of these movies is not done much.

   

In the theaters out of Kathamndu, Nita Dhungana‘s ‘Dabaab’ and Ragini Khadgi‘s ‘Nothing Impossible’ are still running.
